Research Projects
Ayenachew is a geologist specialized in petrology and mineralogy with experience in fieldwork, geological mapping, and laboratory-based mineralogical and geochemical analysis. His work spans rock and mineral studies, soil and clay mineralogy, and the integration of geology with environmental and resource-related questions. He is particularly interested in understanding Earth processes, mineral-soil interactions, and their implications for sustainable resource and land management. In addition, his interests include geoheritage and geotourism as pathways for education, conservation, and sustainable development.
